CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

The CPP is a supervised assessment technique and can only be taken once, as it capitalizes on a person’s cognitive approach to unfamiliarity. Any previous exposure to the test renders results invalid. Test administration can only be done by an administrator, who is accredited by Cognadev.

In order to protect the integrity of the assessment results, as well as Cognadev’s intellectual property, access to the CPP test is strictly controlled. Accredited / licensed users agree to:

• Ensure that only accredited administrators will administer and supervise the CPP;

• Take full responsibility to control the installation of the CPP software by installing it onto test bureau computers only and uninstalling it afterwards (if necessary). CPP software is not to be installed on the personal computers of assesses or on an ad hoc basis. Ensure that no-one will be given access to the CPP by the consultant /administrator (no family, friends and/or close colleagues) to practice or try out the CPP without the knowledge and permission of Cognadev;

• Not distribute the software without written permission from Cognadev; not distribute web links or personal access codes to the CPP software; not provide the CPP game to colleagues and others as this may later invalidate the CPP results of the individuals who have had exposure to the game;

• Take full responsibility for the confidential management of all Cognadev assessment results;

• Complete the biographical information of all assessees as comprehensively as possible as this is required for research purposes;

• Commit to professional and ethical conduct at all times in dealing with the Cognadev products and indemnify Cognadev from any consequences of misconduct in this regard;

• Take full responsibility for the completion, signature and storing of data release consent forms of all CPP assesses;

• Ensure that the person’s test is his/her own work, and that he/she did not get any assistance, that he/she did not make notes, and that he/she actually does write down stories;

• Ensure that the assessment is completed by rested and motivated test subjects, preferably in the morning, before being bombarded by stressful issues at work;

• Ensure that the candidate sets aside at least three hours to complete the test where he/she will be free from interruptions (although most test subjects complete it within 2 hours);
